NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms Offers One-Day ICF Training, Five CEU Credits for Architects

NUDURA  is now offering architects the chance to earn five Continuing Education Units (CEU) via its Basic ICF Installation Training Course, covering NUDURA’s energy efficient building technology and many more areas of interest in a comprehensive one-day format.  Architects can also opt to combine the Basic Training Course with NUDURA’s six AIA specific one-hour architect presentations.  With this new training schedule, architects can potentially earn up to 11 credits through the various NUDURA CEU programs.

Architects will also enjoy interactive demonstrations of everything from form construction, window/door buck options, floor connection examples, layout patterns and more.  With a greater knowledge of NUDURA’s insulated concrete forms, architects will leave with new tools for designing and building sturdy and energy efficient concrete homes and commercial buildings.

The intensive one-day training course offers participants the chance to see the types of buildings and structures made with NUDURA’s integrated building technology, highlighting special features and benefits.  It also includes essential installation practices, consisting of reinforcing steel placement and the design and installation of reinforced concrete lintels.

The one-day tutorial also features NUDURA-patented technologies unique to the NUDURA ICF systems.  With eight-foot blocks NUDURA provides the largest standard form on the market, 4-way reversible interlock, innovative hinged folding web and a locking fastening strip.

The best news is that architects can attend all of these classes free of charge.  In a strained economy, this is good news for architects seeking to expand their knowledge base and learn more about the many benefits of green building and how NUDURA can contribute to LEED.
