The performance of a NUDURA Insulated Concrete Wall System is designed provide greater impact resistance and to withstand winds of up to 402 kph (250 mph). The strength of the insulated concrete wall systems comes from the steel reinforced solid concrete core. NUDURA offers Insulated Concrete Forms in sizes ranging from 4 inches to 12 inches of concrete that stand between you and the elements. When compared to traditional wood frame walls, that offer only soft bat insulation and a wood frame, the strength and safety you get with NUDURA insulated concrete wall systems is far superior. Insulated Concrete wall systems like NUDURA have been used for both commercial and residential structures throughout North America and have saved building owners from having to rebuild.

Debris Impact Test using NUDURA ICF - Conducted by ABC Domes and Wind Science & Engineering Research Center Debris Impact Test Facility at Texas Tech University. Test demonstrates NUDURA Insulated Concrete Form wall system against the impact of debris at tornado wind speeds.

All tests were conducted in strict accordance to the guidelines of FEMA 320/361 and ICC-500. The debris criteria required a 15 lb. wooden 2 x 4 to be propelled at 100 mph for a 250 mph ground speed tornado.
