ICFs were a great fit for this project, offering a continuous, thermally efficient building envelope with great sound absorption to keep exterior sounds outside of the library and making the inside perfectly comfortable and quiet. The most unique areas of the design are the rake walls and the clock tower soaring to 25 feet above the finished floor. In addition, two massive pilasters were designed into the west wall for added wind resistive capabilities.
