Rob Clayton, Superintendent, Warren County Public Schools
Rob Clayton has led Warren County Public Schools (WCPS), Kentucky’s 4th largest district, as superintendent since 2013. Under his leadership, WCPS has grown to over 18,000 students speaking 120 languages, achieving top 10% academic performance despite high diversity. Clayton has overseen $200 million in capital improvements, including new schools and athletics facilities. He launched Kentucky’s first international high school and computer science immersion elementary school, while pioneering energy-efficient initiatives. A two-time Superintendent of the Year, Clayton also advanced FranklinCovey’s Leader in Me program, with 10 WCPS schools attaining top certifications. He remains dedicated to innovation and student success in K-12 education.
Chris McIntyre, CFO, Warren County Public Schools
Chris McIntyre, CPA, CSFO, CGMA, has been with Warren County Public Schools since 2005, serving as CFO/Treasurer since 2015 and adding the Chief Operations Officer role in 2023. He oversees finance, facilities, and operations, leveraging prior banking experience as CFO for two federal savings banks. A Warren County native and Western Kentucky University accounting graduate, Chris is a Governor-appointed member of the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy and serves on various boards. He frequently presents at state education conferences, sharing insights on school finance, operations, and leadership to support K-12 administrators and stakeholders statewide.
Kenny Stanfield, AIA & LEED AP, Principal, Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects
A principal in the firm, and a leader in school planning and design, Kenny Stanfield focuses on the innovative application of sustainable design strategies in schools. Kenny’s creative and optimistic approach to every project enables him to transform ideas into reality, looking at a project’s entirety while paying attention to every detail along the way. This skill set proved beneficial when challenged to design the 1st Net Zero Energy School in the U.S. Now in its 10th year of operation, Richardsville Elementary, continues to produce more energy than it uses, putting the doubts to rest. His second Net Zero Energy School opened in August ’18, with 13 Net Zero Ready schools in design, under construction or in operation.
Jennifer Cash, AIA, Associate Principal, Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects
Jennifer Cash is an Associate Principal and registered architect in SCB’s education studio and has managed projects at SCB for over a decade. She recently completed Jennings Creek Elementary as well as the Hart County High School and the Green River College & Career Center. Jennings Creek Elementary was her first zero-energy energy school. Hart County High School and the Green River College & Career Center were phased construction with parts of the existing buildings being demolished while some parts were still occupied. Cash’s LEED experience includes having managed the production and construction of Lextran Headquarters which is LEED Gold.
Chad Riggs, Partner and Team Leader at CMTA Energy Solutions
Chad Riggs brings over 14 years of expertise in mechanical engineering, energy efficiency and sustainable design. He has led groundbreaking projects, including Kentucky’s first zero-energy school, which helped make Warren County Public Schools the state’s most energy-efficient district. Chad’s leadership on a $30M geothermal energy project and $139M in energy-efficient projects for Loudoun County Public Schools exemplifies his commitment to innovative, cost-effective solutions. A recognized leader in sustainability, his work has earned accolades like the ASHRAE International Technology Award. Chad is also dedicated to mentoring teams and advancing sustainable engineering practices.
Marcy Tyler, Director of Building Science, Tremco CPG Inc.
Marcy Tyler has worked in the commercial construction market for more than 15 years with a focus on the building facade. She has been on hundreds of job sites, troubleshooting, training and providing product and system support. She and her team provide thought leadership and education centered around documented system performance for the entire building enclosure.
