Design professionals, such as engineers and architects, can take advantage of the free resources available in our design library. Here we offer tips, details, and specification guidelines to help you build with the Nudura wall system. Use these tools to learn more about our innovative products and how to incorporate ICFs into any imaginable project.
This section covers below-grade construction details that apply to all building types, for either Combustible or Non-Combustible Construction classifications. It includes general information to consider when working with Nudura in both plan and vertical section layout.
This section covers what you need to know when using Nudura above ground for buildings that are classified as combustible construction under applicable building codes. This type of construction is most often found in low-rise multi-residential homes in North America.
Use this section to learn more and see examples of how to use Nudura ICFs for non-combustible building applications. A key advantage of using ICFs is faster installation times, which you can achieve when the floor-to-ceiling height stays the same on each in a multi-story building.
Nudura Integrated Building Technology is a stay in place concrete form system that enables design professionals the opportunity to design structures that meet the requirements of the occupants. Under most building code bodies, Nudura is classified as a “Flat Wall ICF System” meaning that it enables the creation of flat monolithic structural reinforced concrete walls.
Our Building Information Modeling (BIM) Library helps design professionals in the first stages of a project when working with building design software.
Created to work with Autodesk Revit building design software, these files show how to use Nudura for a variety of wall types. Use the 3D models to play and experiment with the geometry of Nudura forms to achieve any view you need without leaving the comfort of your office. The project and template files even let you transfer the Nudura wall types into your existing building projects.
Technical Requirements:
If you don’t have Autodesk Revit, you can view the files by downloading a free copy of the Autodesk Design Review software, which has many features for viewing the Nudura 3D form unit profiles. Simply use the .dwf files to view our form lineup in 3D. Note that, due to file size, these models/families are intended for viewing purposes only and not for assembly within a project.
