One of the biggest reasons the homeowners chose to build with Nudura® Insulated Concrete Forms is their energy efficiency. Along with a carefully sealed attic and quality doors and windows, the ICFs significantly lowered their energy bills compared to neighboring houses of the same size that were built with wood framing.
Shortly after completion, this project undertook an extreme wildfire that surrounded the house. After the fire subsided, the homeowners found all exterior landscaping burned, but inside, there was no trace of smoke or damage.
