Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners of the 2026 ICF Builder Awards! The Award Ceremony on January 21st in Las Vegas, Nevada highlighted all the finalists across 10 categories and Nudura is proud to be among them! Here is a glimpse at all of the award-winning Nudura ICF projects from this year’s competition.
Dripping Springs, Texas
The largest private observatory in North America, the GSR Observatory was constructed with Nudura’s radius Insulated Concrete Forms for the curved structural walls to accommodate the multi-ton weight of the rotating copper domed roof.

Louisville, Kentucky
Soft soils made maneuverability difficult on this job site, so ICF construction was a big benefit to minimize any delays. Similarly, consistent bad weather during the months of envelope work delayed all trades except for the ICFs. Nudura’s ICF walls were used from the below grade foundation to the roof and were part of the school’s cafeteria storm shelter. Paired with a geothermal system, the ICFs helped to deliver the lowest possible operating costs for this 160,000 sq ft school.

Lexington, Kentucky
Amongst the largest middle schools in Kentucky, the Mary E. Britton Middle School was constructed with Nudura ICFs and includes an ICC-500-rated storm shelter, which is designed to withstand up to 250 mph winds in this tornado-prone region.

Ashtabula, Ohio
This K-12 private school used ICFs for its two-story addition to their existing gymnasium, which saved 30 days in construction time compared to alternative framing methods. Using ICFs for the wall assembly also allowed them to incorporate numerous finish materials, including EIFS, brick veneer and metal composite material panels from Dryvit.

Rogersville, Missouri
As part of a larger backyard remodel, this 38,000-gallon saltwater pool only took 5 days to install with ICFs, saving at least 8 weeks compared to alternative pool construction methods. The contractors even elected for a mono pour approach to streamline the concrete installation of the pool shell. See more gorgeous examples of ICF pools here.

Natick, Massachusetts
To reduce the noise of the nearby train tracks, this mixed-use building decided to switch to ICF construction after the steel structure had already been erected. Working around the steel framing posed some challenges, but the results were worth it. For the façade, 21 Summer Street used Dryvit’s NewBrick brick veneer over the ICFs to match the historic architecture of the city.

Pensacola, Florida
This nearly hurricane-proof home in Florida was built entirely with ICFs to withstand hurricane-force winds, qualifying the owner for a 75% discount on hazard insurance. This house even utilized Nudura’s One Series for an exposed concrete look in their stairwell! With the thermal mass and energy efficiency of the walls, the EGADS Hurricane House is also net zero ready.
New Hampshire
This 7,500 sq ft residence, indoor pool and two-story detached garage were all constructed with Nudura ICFs. This custom home was the general contractor’s first ICF project, but the process ultimately turned them into advocates for ICFs and its benefits.
